Integrated Management System
We have long since introduced an integrated management system that applies to all processes, activities and employees within the company and which includes:
▶ UNI EN ISO 9001
▶ BRCGS - Packaging and Packaging Materials
▶ PEFC
▶ FSC® (FSC-C105014)
▶ QUALITY
The Quality Management System is based on process management and aims primarily at full customer satisfaction and at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of results to increase the companies’ chances of success in the market.
We have always believed in quality, so much that we were one of the first companies in the packaging sector, in Italy and Europe, to obtain UNI EN ISO 9001a certification in 1997.
▶ BRCGS
The BRC – Global Standard (BRCGS) for food safety is a specific global standard for the safety of agri-food products born in 1998. The objective of the BRCGS certification is to guarantee that the quality and safety of private label food products are obtained according to standards quality and compliance with defined minimum requirements.
The purposes of the integrated quality and food safety management system are:
▶ Satisfy customer expectations and needs in terms of quality and food safety;
▶ Optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of production and organizational processes;
▶ Ensure that in Cartotecnica Postumia there is an awareness of the importance of this system, which involves all the organisation’s resources.
A large part of our production concerns the food sector: this is why we wanted to obtain industrial production certification in 2007 in compliance with the BRC “Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials”.
▶ PEFC
Ensures compliance with the requirements of chain of
custody management standards for products of forest origin. We were certified in 2011.
▶ FSC® (FSC-C105014)
Specifies the requirements applied by all Chain of Custody certified organizations concerning procurement, transformation process, labelling and sale of products of forest origin, such as FSC® (FSC-C105014) certified.
We were certified in 2011.
The integrated management system is accompanied by the Lean Management course that we have embarked upon since 2015.
The Lean methodology allows the development of more competitive, fluid and agile processes. The company sets itself today, as in the past, the following objective
«achieve value for customers in the fastest and most waste-free way».
Objective pursued with continuous investments in technological development, improvement of organizational processes, implementation of skills and enhancement of human resources.
