Contribution to the 2030 Agenda
Our outcomes also present contributions towards reaching the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, set
to be accomplished by 2030. The SDGs considered significant and on which we can have the greatest impact are the following 7:
Health and Well-being
We have an active role in implementing actions that ensure health and safety at work for all employees, ensuring that business operations do not negatively impact the right to health, as well as maximizing positive contributions to the well-being of society as a whole.
Gender Equality
We are compelled to adopt internal policies and procedures that guarantee the same rights and work opportunities for women compared to men, and, consistent with our resources, to invest externally in economic empowerment programs for women and girls, thus encouraging economic growth and social development.
Economic Growth and Decent Work
Working within our resources, we are committed to creating stable jobs and ensuring decent working conditions for both our direct employees and temporary workers, as well as those employed in the supply chain.
Industrial Innovation and Infrastructure
We want to promote industrial processes that do not impact the environment, including by collaborating with other companies in our value chain. We are compelled to develop and support sustainable innovation, research and development within our scope.
Responsible consumption and production
We are committed to achieving a sustainable and efficient use of natural resources and to minimizing the adverse effects of hazardous chemicals and waste on human health and the environment. We want to substantially reduce waste production through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse. We adopt sustainable practices and integrate sustainability information into our sustainability reports.
Climate Action
We want to strengthen our resilience and our ability to adapt to climate-related risks and natural disasters. We intend
to work towards integrating measures to combat climate change into our policies and strategy.
Partnership
We want to define partnerships in both local and industrial environments, in favour of sustainable development.
