We have always focused on print quality with excellent results: in the last 6 years our company has won or placed among the top three positions in all editions of the Best in Flexo, the Italian competition for flexographic printing. In 2018 we received
the prestigious Diamond Award for the best paper printing in Europe from FTA, the European flexo printing federation.
Cartotecnica Postumia S.p.A. was awarded the Special Sustainability Best ESG Performance Award promoted by the Paper and Graphics Federation in the 31st edition of the Press Oscars, organized by Stratego Group with Unione GCT Milano.
Cartotecnica Postumia S.p.A. was awarded the special “Best ESG Performance” award, with the following motivation:
“For over 50 years, Postumia has been designing, printing and manufacturing paper packaging for the food industry and shopping bags for retail. For over 30 years the company has only used water-based inks and all production waste
is recycled by local paper mills with regard to the circular economy. Aware of the commitment already made concerning the topic of sustainability, Cartotecnica Postumia is today among the first companies to have undertaken the course towards the practical implementation of sustainability implemented by the Carta Grafica Federation, in collaboration with the Forum for Sustainable Finance and BDO .
Thus making it the best performing company for 2022”.
Furthermore, as Cartotecnica Postumia S.p.A. we received the Credit Reputation Award promoted by MF Centrale Risk.
We were one of the top 68 companies that stood out for their promptness towards the banking and financial system throughout 2022.
Value generated and distributed
The added value generated in carrying out its activities amounted to 32.1 million euros in 2022.
The direct economic value generated is represented by revenues from sales and services, changes in products and work in progress on order, increases in fixed assets for internal work, financial income and other residual revenues.
In 2022 the value distributed (equal to 94% of that generated) corresponds to the wealth distributed to the categories of stakeholders, an index of our economic and social impact. This value is distributed in order of weight
in the following items/stakeholders: operating costs and suppliers of goods and services (68.4%), employee salaries and benefits (30.5%), Public Administration (State) for
the payment of taxes (0.6%), capital providers (0.4%) and communities (0.1%).
Finally, the retained economic value is equivalent to the part of economic resources retained within the company.
Below this value are deferred and advance taxes, depreciation and profit and loss on exchange rates.
