We have always believed in quality, so much so that we were one of the first companies in the packaging sector, in Italy and Europe, to obtain UNI EN ISO 9001 certification in 1997.
As most of our production revolves around the food sector, in 2007, we wanted to attain the certification of industrial production in compliance with the BRC “Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials”. These are two important packaging regulations that ensure safety and security of food, according to food packaging laws prescriptions.
Cartotecnica Postumia’s attention to sustainability has deep roots in respect for the environment and people. A commitment that has led us on the one hand to obtain FSC® and PEFC certifications, to broaden our gaze to future generations and the continuity of responsibly managed forests.
We also strongly believe in gender equality and inclusion as fundamental pillars for our development. This commitment has allowed us to be among the first companies in the sector to be certified according to the UNI/PdR 125:2022 practice, a recognition that testifies to our path towards an increasingly fair and inclusive working environment, in which everyone can feel valued and active part of our success.
We are proud to share an important recognition that rewards the commitment of Cartotecnica Postumia SPA Società Benefit team to sustainability: we have obtained the EcoVadis Silver Medal. EcoVadis is one of the most prestigious sustainability rating systems globally. This result reflects our work in the environmental, social and ethical fields, placing us among the most virtuous companies globally.
