18 March 2024 – We proudly inform all our stakeholders that on Monday 18 March we resolved with a notarial deed the transformation of our company into a benefit company. The name of our company therefore now becomes: Cartotecnica Postumia S.p.A. Società Benefit
The Società Benefit is foreseen by Italian legislation and is a company where, in addition to the aim of creating value and profit, which remains unchanged, also provides in its statute one or more purposes of common benefit. The company chose to operate in a responsible, sustainable and transparent way towards people, communities, territories and the environment, as well as cultural and social assets and activities, bodies and associations and other stakeholders. The common benefit purposes on which we want to create a long-term impact and which have been included in the Statute are:
People Area: creation of stable jobs, guaranteeing dignified, healthy and safe working conditions, both for our direct employees and for temporary staff and those employed in the supply chain, with particular attention to diversity and inclusion, well-being and growth of collaborators.
Planet Area: sustainable and efficient management of resources starting from the selection of raw materials to minimize negative impacts on the environment and climate and, at the same time, increase positive ones thanks also to sustainable and circular innovation processes.
Partnership & Prosperity Area: definition of partnerships at territorial and industrial ecosystem level in favor of creation of shared value with stakeholders and transparent reporting, integrating information on sustainability into impact reports or other sustainability disclosures.
Governance Area: management of the business with ethics, integrity and attention, having as primary objective the inclusion of ESG issues in the company strategy.
